Ferdinand II of Borbon - Two Sicilies (1810 – 1859) was King of the Two Sicilies from 1830 until his early death in 1859.

Maria Theresa of Austria (1816 – 1867) was the second wife of Ferdinand II (m.1837).

Costantino La Barbera: italan sculptor active in Sicile in the second half of 19th century. He was pupil of Valerio Villareal in Palermo. The royal palace of Caserta keeps many of his busts.
